  • Where is the hair imported from?
    Destiny Hair Extensions are mainly imported from Northeast India.
  • How is hair wefted?
    Destiny Hair Extensions are hand selected, unprocessed, raw human hair, with all cuticles aligned in the same direction. There are no other mixtures or synthetic fibers included. Each bundle of hair is originated from one or two single donors, which is contingent on the grade of hair selected.
  • What is your return policy?
    All returns must be within 30 days of purchase. Cannot be used, worn or altered. Buyer is responsible for return shipment. No refunds. Exchange or credit only!
  • What are your payment options?
    We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express when ordering though our website. We also accept cash and credit cards in our salon boutique and for COD deliveries.

  • How many ounces per bundle?
    Each bundle is weighed at 3 ounces.
  • How many ounces are needed for a full installation?
    Each client’s desired style varies. Typically 6-9 ounces are required for a full installation.

  • How do I select the best hair for me?
    Since each client’s hair texture and desired style varies, we suggest you consult with a professional Hairstylist to advise the best option for you.
  • How to wash the extensions?
    To shampoo hair extensions, we recommend you always rinse, shampoo and condition hair extensions in a downward motion. Avoid twisting or tangling during the cleansing process. Click here Products for a list of recommended shampoos and conditioners specially designed for our hair extensions.
  • Does the hair shed?
    Our hair extensions do not shed if cared for properly. In some cases we recommend you do not cut the weft to avoid/minimize shedding. We suggest you only use a detangling brush on our hair extensions. For a list of suggested maintenance products click here Products
  • Can hair extensions get wet? I.E. (Swimming, showering, etc.)"
    Yes you may swim with our hair extensions. We highly suggest you avoid excessive salt water and chlorine, and if so condition hair extensions immediately. For best results we recommend you air dry or sit under hooded dryer after shampooing and conditioning.
  • What colors and textures does the hair come in?

  • What grade of hair options do you offer?
    We offer Premium and Platinum Quality Grade Selections. Premium Quality Hair Extensions can last 3-6 months and Platinum Quality Hair Extensions can last 1-2 years with proper maintenance and products.
  • How often should I apply heat?
    We recommend you use a heat protector and apply heat no more than 2-3 times per week. Products
  • What is the duration of the extensions?
    The duration of our hair extensions are contingent on maintenance and product usage. Premium Quality Hair Extensions can last 3-6 months. Platinum Quality hair extensions can last 1-2 years with proper care/products.
  • How do I style the hair extensions?
    When using heated styling tools, we recommend you use on a moderate heat setting (curlers, flatirons, heated rollers, etc). You may also opt to apply soft rollers, flexi rods or pin curls for overnight maintenance.
  • Can the hair extensions be colored?
    Yes our hair extensions can be colored. We highly recommend you consult and have your hair extensions colored by a professional Colorist/Hairstylist. You may schedule a complimentary consultation/appointment with one of our Hair Color Experts by clicking here Appointment
  • How do I sleep with hair extensions?
    For overnight maintenance we recommend use of soft rollers, flexi rods, or pin curls, and sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase for the best results.
  • Will my scalp be able to breathe naturally with hair extensions?

  • Is there a recommended scalp regimen?

  • How long does shipping take?
    We offer overnight, 2 -3 day, or 5-7 day shipping options. Shipping rates are determined by the weight of package and shipping destination.
  • How do I track my package?
    Upon completing your order you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and order details.
  • Where do you ship your products from?
    Our products are shipped from the NJ/NY area.
  • My payment won’t go through, what should I do?"

  • What’s the difference in closures, full frontals and 360 frontals? "
    Closures are either 4x4 or 4x6 in diameter and can be used to complete/close an installation. Full frontals are 12x4 in diameter and is installed from ear to ear (with either thread, glue or tape), which gives you in a natural hairline and can be parted any way you choose. 360 frontals covers the entire circumference of your head, so it can be worn up or in a parted freestyle.
